Nieuw partnerschap verbetert bezoekersstroom in Giethoorn
Een nieuw samenwerkingsverband in Giethoorn, geïnitieerd door Giethoorn Dorp, heeft als doel de gastvrijheid en de verspreiding van bezoekers te verbeteren. Door de samenwerking met Giethoorn uit Amsterdam, opgericht door Tulpenroutes Nederland, komen bezoekers op verschillende tijdstippen aan. Door een boottocht van een uur aan te bieden vóór 13.00 uur in samenwerking met lokale Giethoornse bedrijven, wordt de bezoekersstroom gelijkmatiger over de dag gespreid, waardoor de drukte in de spits afneemt.
Toeristen verspreiden in Giethoorn
Lokale bedrijven in Giethoorn bundelen hun krachten - waaronder vervoersdiensten, bootverhuurbedrijven, restaurants en plaatselijke winkels - met één gezamenlijk doel: toeristen beter over het dorp verdelen. Bepaalde gebieden in Giethoorn kunnen tijdens piekuren overvol raken. Via sterke partnerschappen, Bezoekers worden naar de rustigere delen van het dorp geleid, waar ook schilderachtige grachten, bootroutes, winkels en restaurants zijn.

Gecoördineerde aankomsttijden voor een ontspannen bezoek
Door samen te werken met transportdiensten uit Amsterdam en meerdere bootverhuurbedrijven die deelnemen aan de Giethoorn Dorpspartnerschap, Bezoekers worden op verschillende tijdstippen opgehaald. Dit voorkomt dat grote mensenmassa's op hetzelfde moment in het dorp aankomen en helpt het toerisme gelijkmatiger over de dag te spreiden.
Meerdere startlocaties en slimme vaarroutes
Met behulp van de vaar- en wandelroutes van de Giethoorn App kunnen bezoekers hun boottocht beginnen in het zuidelijke deel van het dorp. Dit stimuleert gasten om andere routes te volgen dan degenen die met de auto of bus komen en het dorp binnenkomen via de centrale locatie.
In 2026 kunnen bezoekers uit Amsterdam hun ervaring al beginnen bij tot 4 verschillende locaties. Met meer dan tien lokale partners die momenteel betrokken zijn bij het Giethoorn Village Partnership, kunnen toeristen hun reis op meerdere punten in het dorp beginnen. Deze aanpak verbetert de verdeling van boten in de namiddag aanzienlijk en zorgt ervoor dat niet alle boten op hetzelfde moment door hetzelfde kanaal varen.

Dit is het drukste gebied van Giethoorn en dient als eerste startpunt voor onze Giethoorn dagtocht. Gelegen in het hart van het dorp, is het ideaal voor bezoekers die meteen het centrale gebied willen ervaren.
Giethoorn Zuid
Vanaf een bootverhuurbedrijf in het zuidelijkste deel van Giethoorn reizen bezoekers van zuid naar noord en bereiken het centrum later op de dag. Hierdoor worden de toeristen gelijkmatiger over het dorp verdeeld.

Een rustigere locatie, maar toch centraal in Giethoorn. Dit is het tweede startpunt voor onze dagtocht, perfect voor bezoekers die het centrum willen verkennen zonder de piekdrukte.
Giethoorn Noord
Bezoekers starten bij een bootverhuurbedrijf in het noordelijkste deel van Giethoorn. De route loopt ook van zuid naar noord, zodat gasten op een later tijdstip bij het centrum aankomen en er minder opstoppingen zijn in de drukste gebieden.
